Flora
Flora inludes numerous trees and grasslands comprising of Sal (Shorea robusta), the Sheesam (Dalbergia sissoo), the Kanju (Holoptelea integrifolia), the Ber (Zizyphus mauritians), Dhak (Butea monosperma), Bael (Aegle marmelos), Simal (Bombax cieba), Jhingan (Lannea coromandelica) and Khair (Acacia catechu), Palas (Butea monosperma), Amalatas (Cassia fistula) and Kachnar (Bauhinia variegata), karipak, grewia, kurha,, marorphali, bakli, tendu, pula, sain etc.


Fauna
Park is known for the diverse fauna. Tiger, Elephants, Himalayan Black Bear, Hedgehog, Flying Fox, Leopards, Jungle cat, The sloth bear, Jackal, Yellow throated marten, Himalayan palm civet, Indian grey mongoose, Porcupine, Black naped hare, Gharial, Langur, Goat Antelpoes , Turtles, Tortoises, The Indian python, and Indian pangolin Viper, Cobra, Krait and King cobra.

Avifauna
Woodpeckers, Corbett National ParkThe park comprises of around 600 species of native and migratory birds. Among the migratory birds most commonly seen are Great Crested Grebe, Black Storks, Sandpipers, Snipe, Graylag Geese, White Storks, the Great Black-headed Gull, and White and Rosy Pelicans. Other native birds which attracts the adventurous visitors are Indian Alpine Swift, the Dusky Crag Martin, Orioles, Drongos, Pies, Babblers Striated Swallows, Black Partridge, Green Pigeons, Parakeets, Cuckoos, Hornbills, Barbets, Woodpeckers, Peafowl, the Red Junglefowl, White-crested Kalij Pheasant, Spotted Owlet, the Franklin's Nightjar, Crested Serpent Eagle, the Black-winged Kite, the the Himalayan Grey-headed Fishing Eagle Cormorants, the Darter, the Grey Heron, Egrets, the Cattle Egret, the White-necked and Black-necked Storks, the Spotbill, the Large Pied Wagtail and White-capped Redstart.


Major Attractions
Ramganga Reservoir
Rhinocerus, Dudhwa National ParkDhikala camp near this reserve is home to Gharial, Marsh crocodile, Jackal, Wild Boar, and many deer species such as Chital, Hog Deer and Sambar.

Ramnagar
It is located in the farm belt of Terai and known for the fishing camp.

Rajaji National Park and Dudhwa National Park must also be visited as it is near to the Corbett National Park.

Location
It is situated close to Nainital in the state of Uttaranchal and is spread on an area of 1,200 sq km.

Best Time to Visit
It is best to make a trip to this park from November to June.
