It is one of the most beautiful and admirable temples in the world. Two temples in the complex, Vimal Vasahi and Tejpal Temple, are excellent and impressive. Visitors are fascinated by the alluring intricate minute carving on the marble which are simple gorgeous.
The musuem exhibits collection of folk dresses, puppets, ornaments, dolls, masks, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. Museum also runs short courses in puppet making and theatre. Regular 15 minute puppet shows are held daily in this musuem which will really make the kids excited.
This small ornamental garden is appreciated for its well maintained lotus pool, marble elephants and beautiful imported fountains. The Sahelion ki Bari, or Garden of the Maids of Honour is near the city and was meant for the royal household ladies to spend leisure time. It was developed in the early eighteenth century. Visitors are delighted by the musical fountain that was brought from England.
This huge City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan and standing near the Pichola Lake. The palace is surmounted by balconies, towers and cupolas the magical views of the lake and the city can be observed from the upper terraces of the palace. Visitors can enter to the palace from the Hati Pol, the Elephant gate, then by crossing the Bari Pol or the Big gate, one can reach the Tripolia or the Triple gate is the main ticket office . There are several rooms in the renowned City Palace called as 'Mahals'. Paintings, artistic glass mirro work, antique furniture and elegant tiles are just incomparable and unmatched.
