Umaid Bhavan Palace
Built in 1929, Umaid Singh Palace is a comparatively recent addition to the historic city. Built by Maharaja Umaid Singh, this massive structure is spread over a whopping 26 acres. While a part of the palace is used by the royal family as residence, a major section has been converted into a heritage hotel and rest is a well preserved museum. Be it the majestic carvings , sprawling lawns or the royal costumes in the museum no part of Umaid Singh Palace fails to enchant you.

Mehrangarh Fort
Spread over five kilometers, standing tall at a perpendicular height of 125 meters, Mehrangarh Fort is one of the laregst forts in the country.Feel the excitement of exploring the secret passages, narrow steep staircases, interconnected Zenana. Inside the Mehrangarh premesis are Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Maan Vilas, Daulat Khana, Sukh Mahal, Sileh Khana and Phool Mahal. A large section of Meharngarh fort has been converted into a museum where you will come across musical instruments, palanquins, royal furniturea and cannons.

Jaswant Thada
This elaboarte piece of Rajputana architecture made out of pure marble was constructed in 1899. Dedicated to Maharaja Jasawnt Singhji, the main cenotaph is a huge a white marble temple embelished with sculptures, domes , pillars and pavilions. Sepatre sections are dedicated to the brave queens who commited sati on the pyre of Maharaja Jasawnt Singh. The site presents a magnificent veiw as it glows in the sunlight.

Umed Gardens
Sprawling over 82 acres, within Umed gardens apart from the towering Ashoka trees, seasonal flowers and fountains, there is a museum and a zoo. A walk in aviary was costructed here in 1979 for bird watchers. The gardens are home to a range of Indian, African and Australian birds.
