Kempegowda, the Magadi Chieftain is believed to be the founder of Bangalore, which is often termed as the Garden city of India. Lalbagh Botanical Garden
This lovely and marvellous garden was built by HyderAli in 1760 in the vast landscape of 100 hc. It was earlier called Lalbagh as the garden had excess of red roses. The glass house, based on London Palace, draw visitors to this large park. The Rose garden is also fascinating having 150 different varieties of roses.

Neeladri Amusement and Water Park
This park is extended over 30 acres of grand panorama, the park include several adventureous fun rides, a video games arcade, Roman type amphitheatre, restaurants, ice cream parlours and chaat stalls.

Vidhana Soudha
Vidhana Soudha, BangaloreThis magnificent granite structure houses the State Legislature and the Secretariat. The impressive huge sandalwood door of the Cabinet room is a splendid feature of this dignified building.

Bull Temple
This marvellous temple, dedicated to 'Lord Nandi' was built by Kempegowda in the grand Dravidian style. The vast statue of Lord Nandi in the temple is an exquisite monolithic stone sculpture measuring to a height of 6.2m. It is believed that the statue is growing further and further.

Ulsoor Lake
Situated at the heart of the city, this 1.5sq.km expanse of placid waters offers thrill and excitement to the scores of visitors from far and near. Pretty island in the lake makes its more attractive. It is a perfect place for boating and viewing the sights.
