India Nepal Vacation Tours

Destinations : Delhi – Udaipur – Jodhpur – Jaipur- Agra – Orcha – Khajaraho – Varanasi – Kathmandu – Patan – Pokhara
Day 01 : DELHI
Arrive Delhi by International Flight.
Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer from International airport to Hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : DELHI
Qutub Minar, Delhi Morning sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting the Raj Ghat – the memorial at the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Mosque – the largest Mosque in India and the Red Fort – Once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire.

Afternoon, sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting the Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutab Minar, drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajput, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and President’s Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 : DELHI – UDAIPUR
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Udaipur, meet and transfer to pre booked hotel.
PM – Sightseeing tour. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 : UDAIPUR - JODHPUR
AM - Drive from Udaipur to Jodhpur (258 Kms / 6 hrs), check in at hotel.
PM – city tour.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 05 : JODHPUR - JAIPUR
Morning drive to Jaipur, check in at hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amer fort. Make your ascend to the palace fortress on the gaily caparisoned elephant back. Afternoon tours of Jaipur know as ‘The Pink city of Rajasthan’. Visit the unique Jantra Mantar – Observatory, the city Palace and the museum, the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 : Jaipur / Agra
Morning drive to Agra Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (221 Kms/5 hours) the deserted, sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza the largest gateway in the world.
Continue your drive to Agra upon arrival check in at hotel.
Evening visit Taj Mahal by sun set. Overnight at the hotel.

Taj Mahal, Agra Day 08 : AGRA – Gwalior
Transfer from hotel to the Railway Station in time for:
Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer from Railway Station to Hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Gwalior includes visit to the great Fort, manmandir-6 towered palace which forms the Eastern hall of Fort and is one of the classic sights of India, Gujarat Mahal, Turreted Palace of stone.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 : Gwalior – Jhansi – Orcha – Khajaraho
Transfer from hotel to Railway Station in time for: Meeting and assistance upon arrival and drive to “ ORCHA” (35 Kms / 01 hr). Visit this beautiful medieval town, was once the capital of Bundela kings. Lunch at Sheesh Mahal. After Lunch drive to Khajaraho (142 Kms / 3.5 hrs) On arrival check-in at hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 : Khajaraho / Varanasi
Morning sightseeing tour of famous Chandela Dynasty temples, which are set in a lovely grassy park. The temples are quite amazing – rising in many peaks and spirals, intricately carved and designed with statues and friezes, some of which are the renowned erotic carvings.

Transfer from hotel to airport in time for flight to Varanasi.
Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to hotel.
Late afternoon excursion to buried Buddhist city of Sarnath just outside Varanasi.
Sarnath is holy to Buddhists as Varanasi is to Hindus.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 : VARANASI / KATHMANDU
Early Morning drive to Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges. Continue by boat to see burning and bathing ghats. Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast sightseeing tour of Varanasi visiting Hindu temples. Continue drive to airport in time to connect flight for Kathmandu.
Meeting and assistance upon arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 : Kathmandu
Morning sightseeing tour of Kathmandu visiting Darbar Square to see the fine examples of Nepalese architecture in Kathmandu’s Palace and pagodas. Also visit a sun temple at tipical Nepalese place.
Afternoon free.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12 : Kathmandu
Budhnath Stupa, Kathmandu Full day excursion to Patan and Bhadgaon.
A drive through the Nepalese countryside and a visit to Patan, know as the “city of grace in fine arts”,
Where you will witness interesting and beautiful pieces of art and architecture. Enroute, a stop over at particularly interesting sales room of the Tibetan refugee crafts centre- Bhadgaon is the ancient capital of Nepal. Witness such treasures as the Palace of 55 windows the golden gate, the five storied Nyatapola
Temple (marvelous example of the pervasive pagoda architecture), and the small but excellent Museum.
Stop and visit the Pasupatinath temple on your way back to Kathmandu a holy Hindu shrine on the banks of Bagmati River.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 : Kathmandu – Delhi
Morning free for independent activities. Afternoon transfer to airport in time to connect flight for Delhi.
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to: hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 : Delhi - Abroad
Transfer from hotel to International airport in time to connect flight for onward destination.
