| Kodaikanal is a
lovely hill station set amongst the gentle slopes of the Palani hills
close to Madurai. At a height of 2133 mtrs above sea level this hill
station was founded by the American missionaries in 1845. The famous
Kurinji flower, which blooms once in twelve years is the pride of
Kodaikanal. The exotic sights of Kodai Lake, Coaker's Walk, Bryant Park,
Kodai Astrophysical Observatory, Bear Shola Falls, Kurinji Andavar
Temple, Pillar Rocks, Green Valley View and Silver Cascade highlight the
true splendor of Kodaikanal. |
