Ellora Caves
Ellora caves are 34 in number and comprises of monasteries and temples of
Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism faith. The caves carved out of the Chamadri
hills date back to 600-1000 A.D.and is known for the intricate interiors and
ornamental facades. The Kailash temple, carved out of single rock is a
masterpeice and is the major attraction here.
Daulatabad Fort

It
is close to Ellora caves and situated atop the hill. King Bhillama of Yadav
dynasty erected the fort in the 12th century and named it Devgiri. Later the
name of the fort was changed to Daulatabad by Mohammed Bin Tughlaq, the
Sultan of Delhi. The huge walls and gates attract large number of tourists
to this fort.
Bibi-Ka-Maqbara
It is a tomb built in the memory of Aurangzeb's wife Rabia-ud-Daurani
Begum. It is similar to the TajMahal and is called the Taj of Deccan. The
mausoleum is known for its exquisite architecture and must be visited.
