Delhi - Agra - Jaipur

Red Fort, DelhiDelhi is a metropolis that lies in the northern India. It is 200 km from Agra and 260 km from Jaipur. The city served as the chief centre of empire for various Mughal, Rajput, Afghan and other rulers and the fact is easily reflected from the magnificent monuments built by them.

One can see a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural presence in this cosmopolitan city which makes it lively and colorful. Being the capital of the Republic of India, people from every corner of the country can be seen here. The city is also a commercial hub and offers a wide variety of quality Indian garments and handicrafts.
Delhi has many beautiful monuments and vibrant bazaars and is flocked by tourists right throughout the year. Some of the major attractions of this place are Jantar Mantar, one of the observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh, Qutab Minar, the highest stone tower in India, Red Fort, India Gate, Purana Qila, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Lotus Temple and Akshardham Temple.


Taj Mahal, AgraAgra, the city of Taj Mahal, is 200 kms away from Delhi and it takes a four-hour drive from Delhi via Faridabad, Hodal, Palwal and Mathura to reach Agra. Coming by rail, one must check out at Agra Cantt railway station which is 2 kms from the Agra city. It is a two-hour journey by rail from Delhi. It is accessible by air also and flights land at Kheria airport which is 6 km from the city centre. Flights hardly take 35 minutes from Delhi. Taxis and auto-rickshaws can be hired for sightseeing in the city.

No wonder, Agra offers much more for the visitors. One can see the Taj Mahal, a glorious monument built by Shah Jehan in the loving memory of Mumtaz Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, a red sandstone city housing the marble tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisthi, Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Diwan-i-Aam and Diwan-i-Khas. Other tourists attractions in Agra include Agra Fort, Chini- Ka-Rauza, Jama Masjid, RamBagh and Dayal Bagh Temple.

The pink city of Jaipur lies in the state of Rajasthan and is about 260 km from Delhi and 230 km from Agra by road and can be reached in four to five hours. The Sanganer Airport in Jaipur is 15 kms from the main city and is connected by Indian Airlines and Jet Airways with major cities. One can also access Jaipur by rail as it is connected to Delhi, Jodhpur, Mumbai, Agra, Lucknow, Bangalore and Chennai.

Hawa Mahal, JaipurBeing the capital of Rajasthan, the city is known for its magnificent forts and beautiful havelis. One can see Hawa Mahal, a five-storied structure made for the ladies of royal families to see the activities going on in the streets. Other popular attraction in Jaipur is The City Palace musuem, with a collection of miniature paintings, artifacts, furniture, enamel ware, manuscripts and other interesting things of royal era. The City Palace, known for its exquisite Rajputana and Mughal architecture, is also a worth-visit here. Visitors must also pay a visit to Jantar Mantar, Amber Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Rambagh Palace and Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh.
