Classic Rajasthan Tour

Duration : 11 Nights / 12 Days
Destinations : Delhi - Jaipur - Agra - Gwalior - Orcha - Khajaraho - Varanasi - Delhi
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meeting upon arrival and transfer to Hotel.
Afternoon – combined tour of Old and New Delhi.
Overnight at hotel.  Hawa Mahal, Jaipur

Day 02 : Delhi / Jaipur
Morning after breakfast leave for Jaipur by car, visiting Enroute, Amer fort to take an elephant ride to Hilltop fort. Arrival Jaipur early in the afternoon and proceed to your pre booked hotel.  
Reminder of the day at leisure.  Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Jaipur
This morning you shall have tour of Jaipur city, visiting city Palace complex – which included the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) built in 1799, the Jantra Mantra observatory, which still is equipped with ancient instruments including a very accurate 90 foot sundial and the beautiful and colourful city.
Rest of the day at leisure free.  
Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 : Jaipur / Agra After breakfast leave by car to Agra Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, which is probably the best preserved and most complete Mughal Palace city of all. 
Afternoon at leisure – Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 : Agra
Taj Mahal, Agra This morning visit the Taj Mahal, which was built by Emperor Shah Jehan as a memorial to his queen Mmtaz Mahal.  Also visit the fort and the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah,  
Afternoon at leisure, and perhaps explore the Bazzars in the areas to the west of the fort.
Overnight at hotel. 

Day 06 : Agra / Gwalior
Leave by for Gwalior, established in the 8th century.  It is noted for its hilltop, which is one of the oldest in India.  In the afternoon visit the fort, which contains the 15th century palace of Raja Mansingh and the Teli-Ka-Mandira, and ancient temple.  Gwalior is also important center of Indian classical music and each December a great music festival is held here.
Day 07 : Gwalior / Orcha
After an early breakfast leave for medieval Orcha.  Stopping Enroute at Datia to view the beautiful seven-story hilltop Gobinda palace, then onto Orcha.  
On the banks of the Betwa river. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Orcha / Khajaraho
Khajuraho Temple This morning drive onto Khajaraho, important for its magnificent chandela temples.  Khajaraho in the afternoon and proceed to your hotel for overnight stay.  Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 : Khajaraho
Morning visit to the temples – which form probably one of the best examples of Indian
Art.  Afternoon – free to revisit the temples at your leisure.

Day 10 : Khajaraho / Varanasi
Transfer to airport for your flight to Varanasi.  On arrival proceed to your hotel.
Varanasi – the eternal city is the holiest Hindu city in India and one of the oldest living cities in the world.  Afternoon city tour.
Visiting the temples in the old city and the Emperors Aurangzeb’s Mosque.
Overnight at hotel 

VaranasiDay 11 : Varanasi
Early morning boat rides on the Ganges to view the sunrise and to see the rituals that takes place along the Ghats (waterside steps.).  Afternoon – visit Sarnath to see the Chinese and the Buddhist temples and the interesting Sarnath museum.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 : Varanasi / Delhi / Departure
Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi, upon arrival meeting at airport and transfer to international airport.
