Buddhist Travel Package

HIGHLIGHTS
This journey shall take you to the sites like the place where tradition holds that Buddha set in motion his second Wheel of Law, peace pagoda – built by Buddha Sangha of Japan, place where Buddha preached his first sermon, Buddhas cremations place, Buddhas monasteries and temples and flourishing Buddhist University and Monastery.

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi by International Flight
Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to Hotel.  Morning free at leisure.  Afternoon combined tour of Old and New Delhi.  Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi / Patna
Transfer to airport in time to connect flight to Patna.  Depart Delhi by at 1015 hours. Arrive Patna at 1140 hours.  Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to hotel.  Afternoon city tour of Patna including Archeological center of Patliputra.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Patna / Rajgir (102 Kms / 2.30 Hours)
Drive to Rajgir Enroute visiting Nalanda University. Upon arrival check in at hotel.
Afternoon tour of Rajgir.  
Overnight at hotel

Day 04 : Rajgir / Bodhgaya (90 Kms / 2 Hours)
Drive to Bodhgaya.  Upon arrival check in at hotel
Reminder of the day at leisure.  Overnight at hotel 
Day 05 : Bodhgaya / Varanasi (234 Kms / 6 Hours)
Drive to Varanasi, Upon arrival check in at hotel.
Reminder of the day at leisure.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Varanasi
Early morning boats ride on river Ganges.  
Morning free for independent activities. 
Afternoon excursion to Sarnath.  Overnight at hotel 

Day 07 : Varanasi / Kushinagar (260 Kms / 6 Hours)
Drive to Kushinagar and upon arrival check in at hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Kushinagar.
Overnight at hotel. 

Day 08 : Kushinagar / Balrampur (350 Kms / 10 Hours)
Drive to Balrampur Enroute visiting Lumbini.  Upon arrival check in at hotel. 
Overnight at hotel. 

Day 09 : Balrampur / Lucknow (208 Kms / 5 Hours)
Drive to Lucknow Enroute visiting Shravasti and upon arrival check in at hotel.

Day 10 : Lucknow / Delhi
Morning city tour of Lucknow. 
Afternoon transfer to railway station in time to connect Shatabadi Express Train to Delhi.
Depart Lucknow at 1520 hours. Arrive Delhi at 2150 hours.  Meeting on arrival and transfer to hotel. 
Day 11 : Delhi / Abroad
Transfer to international airport in time to connect flight for onward destination.
