Ambalapuzha
This place is located 14 kms. away from Alleppey and is famous for The Sri Krishna temple. Based on kerala style of architecture this temple is famous for 'Palpayasam' a milk porridge that is offered to the deity.
Alappuzha Beach
This beautiful beach includes lakes, lagoons and is yet another crowdpuller in Alappuzha. The 137 year old pier can be seen here. The Old light house, the Vijaya beach park and the Sea view park draw tourists to the beach.
Pathiramanal
This small fascinating island is located on the Vembanad Lake. It is a favourite site for migratory birds from different parts of the world and can be reached by boat.
Edathua Church
This church was built in 1810, and is dedicated to St. George. People believe that prayers and offerings at this church help to heal all mental disorders and ailments.
