This fourteen-day safari covers some remote and some legendary places high in the Himalayas like Srinagar, Leh and Kargil in Kashmir besides Jispa, Keylong and Manali in Himachal Pradesh.
The Mughals aptly called Kashmir "Paradise on Earth". It is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley, and is spread on both sides of the river Jhelum.
The Dal and Nagin Lakes enhance its picturesque setting, while the changing play of the seasons, and the salubrious climate ensure that the city is equally attractive to visitors all year round. Lamayuru is the oldest monastic site in Ladakh, believed to be shrine of pre Buddhist religion.

Today you will be visiting the capital of India Delhi. Ther are two parts of Delhi one is Old Delhi which has Moughal and pre Mougal Monuments & New Delhi which was developed by British and after Indipendence of India. Visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (World War-1 Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight in Hotels in Delhi.
Transfer to airport for flight to Srinagar. On arrival i Srinagar meet and transfer to Houseboat. Evening ride on Shikara(boat). Overnight in hotel.
Drive to Kargil. On arrival in Kargil check in hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Drive to Uletokpo. On arrival a short trek of 30min takes you to visit the monestery at Rizong, the scool where young lamas are tought the Buddhisam. Overnight in Tents(You are surrounded by peach and apple trees and you are right over a cliff on the river Indus).
After breakfast leave for Lamayuru, another ancient monestrery believed to be made by sowing a seed of barley in a pound. Visit Lamayuru and drive back to Uletokpo vis Alchi Monestery. Alchi has murals paintings dating back to the 11th century and is perhaps one of the oldest monestery in Ladakh.
Drie to Leh. On arrival in Leh check in hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight in hotel.
Full day tour of Leh visiting Monestries,Shankar Gompa, Spituk and Phyang Monasteries. In the evening visit Ladakh.
Morning drive to Sarchu plains at an altitude of about 3900-odd metres. Enjoy a real trekking expedition and the thrilling adventure holiday inherent in the steep climb on the towering peaks. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Travelling across the Bhaga River and Bhagsu, Baralacha, Darcha-Sumdo village and through Darcha, only 6 km from Jispa, On arrival enjoy trekking by climbing the hillside at Keylong, a quaint village on the trade route between India and China/Tibet. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Drive to Manali by jeep passing through the Rohtang Pass en route. Watch the open valley through which flows the gushing River Chandra. On arrival check in hotel. Evening free for rest. Overnight in hotel.
Full day tour of Manali. Overnight in hotel.
Drive back to Delhi enrout visit Chandigarah. On arrival in Delhi check in hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Transfer to airport for flight back home.
