Trekking in Sikkim

and fauna while going for trekking in Sikkim. Trekking from Namchi or
Damthang to Tendong-Ravangla-Menam-Borong is most thrilling one. Four hours

Trekking from Tendong Hill to Namchi. Trekking can be done throughout the
year except in Monsoon.
Trekking in Ladakh

Trekking in Garhwal
Garhwal, is located in the north west of Uttranchal and includes five
districts of Dehradun, Pauri, Tehri, Uttarkashi and Chamoli. The trek to
Roopkund or Kauri pass is one of the most fascinating trekking experience
visitors can have. High altitude trek from Bhagirathi Valley to Alaknanda
Valley is also very thrilling. Trek begins from Gangotri to Nandavan and
then continues to Vasukital, Kalindikhal pass, Arwatal and Mana and ends at
Badrinath. July and August is the best season to go for trekking here.
Trekking in Himachal
Himachal comprises of four mountain ranges namely the Dhaula Dhar, Pir
Panjal, Himalayas and Zanskar. These mountain ranges makes it a favourite
place for trekkers. Enjoy the treks over the Sutlej-Beas watershed or
Indrahar pass. The best trek routes in Himachal is the Chandra-Bhaga
triangle and the Bara Lacha Pass. From Manikaran to Pulga rest house along
the Parvati river is also very fascinating.
What to bring in Trekking
Visitors must carry with them walking boots, warm jackets, sleeping bags,
woolen shirts, sweaters, waterproof trousers, woolen socks, Sunglasses and
waterbottle . First aid box must not be forgotten. Tents and foam mattresses
are provided by the trekking agency.
