Camel Safaris in Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer, one of the desert city of Rajasthan is known for its splendid

beautiful city. Tourists can start from Badabagh, which is famous for the
tomb of Bhatti Rajput kings and is just few hours from Jaisalmer. From there
one can move to Village of Baisakhai which is housing an old Hindu temple.
Camel safaris make a night halt in Ramkunda, famous for beautiful temples
and moves to the village of Roopsi next day. From Roopsi camel safari
proceeds to Ludharva, where tourists must see jain temples and architectural
ruins.

Spending
night in Chatrayil, safari moves towards Salkha which is close to sand dunes
of Beri of Kanoi having lot of wells constructed and one can see Rajasthani
women fetching water from the wells. From Kanoi, Masooradi village and the
oasis of Jeseiri can be seen. Then safaris moves to the village of Dedha and
Deegasar and Kuldhara. From Kuldhara safari returns to Jaisalmer. This is
the longest camel safari route providing the visitors the exquisite picture
of village life in the desert. Other route for camel safari starts from
Jaisalmer, and moves through Moolsagar, Kuldhara and Masooradi, before going
to Padiyari and then to Moondardi. From Moondardi, the safari returns back
to Jaisalmer. This short trip is exciting for the adventure lovers.
Camel Safari in Bikaner
Bikaner is a desert city in Rajasthan. It is known for the magnificient
palaces and the beutiful temples. The city also houses camel research and
breeding farm which is one of its kind. The camel safari is favourite among
the tourists to visit this desert city. The safari begins from Bikaner and
passes through many beautiful spots in Naukh, Kansar, Baru, Chayan, Sataya
and Tadana. From Tadana it moves to Mohangarh which is a small town having
sandstone fortress. From here safari moves to Dungri and then returns to
Jaisalmer. Their is also other route for the camel safari from Bikaner. It
starts from Bikaner and moving to villages of Charkhada, Teliyan Ki Dhani,
Kanasar, Baru Bhala, Telansar, Chaku and Bharaiya it goes to Jambo in
Jodhpur district. From there it turns to west and then move to Jaisalmer.
Camel Safari in Mandawa

This
city is known for the magnificient havelis. One must visit the village of
Dhakas which takes around six hours to reach on camel safari from Mandawa.
With the night halt in Dhakas safari proceeds to Khotia which is also six
hour journey from Dhakas. Then it returns back to Mandawa providing one of
the shortest camel safari. Thus camel safaris provides oppurtunity to see
the forts, temples and the monuments life of rural areas.

As camel safari is organised in winters so visitors must keep the wollen
clothes, pair of sunglasses, waterbottles, sun hat and a sleeping bag. Tour
